For the SALA Festival 2024 the TOTT Gallery adopted the theme, ‘Our Stories’. Twenty six of the gallery’s artists took us on their own personal ‘creative journey’ with an extensive selection of wonderful pieces.
On the 7th July a group of dedicated members and guests braved the cold wintery conditions to gather for the opening of the SALA exhibition, ‘Our Stories’. In his opening address, Councillor Malcom Herrmann spoke about how the AHC supports arts throughout the region. He then moved to focus on our diverse group of artists and the
variety of mediums on display. He described the exhibition as a visual feast, before declaring it officially ‘open’.
This was followed by Ann and Adrian Beacham giving an insight into the processes they use to create their artworks. Ann had a detailed explanation on how she creates her amazing suncatchers, while Adrian explained the stages he goes through to create
his metal roses.
