Around 1 hour from the Adelaide CBD is the township of Birdwood. At number 9 Shannon Street you will find the Top of the Torrens Gallery & Gift shop. The heritage listed building that is our home is also part of the National Motor Museum complex.
Inside the art gallery you will find our current exhibition and a comprehensive gift shop. A schedule of exhibitions can be found on our exhibitions page. The artworks range from painted canvases, photographic art and fabrics to 3 dimensional art in the form of clay, glass, metal and wood. Each item is meticulously created by our artists, and in most cases are available for sale from the gallery.
Inside the very well stocked gift shop, you can purchase that one of a kind gift for someone special, or maybe an individual artwork to adorn the wall in your home. You can even purchase a hand made card to give with an artwork as a gift.
The gallery is open from Wednesday to Monday and most public holidays from 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM. EFTPOS and Credit Card facilities are available for all purchases, and we also accept cash.
